This 4-part seminar educates students on the various fields and careers available to them in scientific research, and how to get there:

1. Big Picture

What are the career options available in research, and how can I get there?

2. Linking Experiences with Skills

How to identify my experiences that are relevant, and build them into a research career?

3. A Day in the Life

What will my day-to-day look like in a research career?

4. Choosing Your Path Skills Workshop

Which path and field is right for me, given my specific skills and interests?

**Embedded within the four sessions is

1) Q/A with a panel of scientists in the fields of neuroscience, clinical psychology and medicine

2) Research and “Day in the Life” examples from research scientists at major universities
